You're simply a little yellow circle with a slice cut out of it, so to speak, being chased by ghosts while you try to gobble up all the little dots and collecting little pieces of fruit and whatnot. I've heard people say that Alliance characters level faster than Horde, I don't think this is necessarily true. Although I have noticed that it is easier to get around to the leveling areas a little faster as an Alliance player. Also there are several times when Alliance and Horde are put into a contested area, and Alliance seem to be a little farther ahead in the game, and therefore have a slight advantage over the Horde.
