Ya there are extra fans that you can get.A few years ago there were fans made by 'Nyko' meant to keep the system cool. But the problem with these is they used power from the console itself, instead of from an external power source. And since the console already uses too much power the fans would make the console even hotter and people were getting screwed when they used them.If you're gonna get fans make sure that the fans use an external power source and don't depend on the power from the console itself. I think 'Nyko' fixed this problem BUT just in case, make sure those are the fans that you ask for.

yeah im kinda hoping mine dont go this way. i havent had it for too long tho and i dont play it too often. arent there extra fans you can get for it? x

I've had my console since they first came out. I honestly thought it was invulnerable because I'd never experienced any problems with it. I was always pretty careful ya know to make sure that I didn't play too long. Then one day sure enough, I don't know I must have played too long or something and BAM! Red Ring of Death. I'm just glad I could repair it.
