DT CALL
Hello friends!
I am one of the authors the Russian Challenge blog Scrap-Tag/
And we are happy to start 'SPRING DESIGN TEAM CALL' of Scrap-tag blog!
We are looking for creative designers who want to work in the Team.
The rules of work in our Team are simple: you should to make works for Challenges, tutorials with Trash & Glam products.
All of our designers receive Trash & Glam products (chipboard and stamps) for their works.
Spring team will work from March till May of 2012.
It's possible to stay in DT longer (we will discuss it))) )
Well, here's rules of DT call:
1. Please write in your blog that you are want to take a part in our DT call. You should post photoes of your best works (note - only one postcard allowed). You can make a work especially for our Call (not a postcard).
2. Post in this message a banner with link on post about DT calling.
3. Put a banner on one of panels in your blog (this banner should be with link too).
4. Put a link after this message (please use InLinkz).
5. Wait for results)))
DT call will stop 20 of February 2012.

n00b here; college scrapbooking
You guys have no idea how long it took me to figure out how to post here. I haven't been on LJ in 4 years! Whew!
So I graduated a few months ago and I want to make a scrapbook based on the 4 years of my college life. There are a few ideas I found on Youtube that are useful, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qqu55zeFj5c&feature=related
But it's not enough! I tried searching "college" and "college scrapbooks" on LJ in communities like this and surprisingly found nothing! I'm grabbing ideas from the rest of your entries, and the "read me first post" is helpful in terms of starting & materials, but I suppose I'm looking for more examples of other college or high school graduation scrapbooks. That would make my day!

How many scrapbooks are too many??
I want to start scrapbooking. I am thinking of starting one for summer camping trips, but I also want to do a yearly one. I thought about just doing one for each holiday or a yearly one. Then I wanted an individual one for each of my children. How many do you have? Am I going overboard?

We just opened an account with Live Journal and are excited to join in this scrapbooking community!
The scrapbookthriftstore by The Papier Proposal is spreadheaded and managed by Iver and Sheau Chyn who were once enthusiastic scrappers but now moved on to their 9-to-6 day job. We are still creating projects despite our full time job but we have too many stocks on hand that would be wasted if we don't used them. Loads of good stuffs!
Therefore we are trying to clear them as many as possible =D

Talk to me about spacers! When I used to bind handmade books, I used spacers between the pages to avoid the outer edge being thicker than the bound edge. I assume that scrapbookers must do this as well because my album is looking really swollen! What do you do to combat this? Do you make spacers or buy them? Any obvious tips I'm missing? Thanks!
Recovering scrapbook
Hi everyone, I was wondering if there were any tutorials or pictures of people recovering books. I have a 8x8 album that I would like to change. The cover isn't very pretty and I wanted to know how to fix it.
