Matty & Rachels Engagement Shoot

This could be a quick blog post – I’m in Heathrow airport and the WIFI access is costing 11p/minute :-) . Waiting in an airport is a good opportunity to catch up on all the little things I should have done during the week – and one of those was blogging this engagement shoot. If you are on my Facebook page (if you aren’t you should be!) this will be old news – but for the rest of you here goes…

So we started off where Matty & Rachel got engaged – a cool little cinema in Comber…

And after this dose of extreme romance, we headed off to the Titanic Quarter for some urban goodness. This is a class place for a photoshoot – I want to do more here… so if you are a model (ok thats pushing my luck – but you never know) or recently engaged get in touch!! I’ve included some behind the scenes shots to give you a wee feel for the shoot…

Love the next one on the left..

Iconic Belfast image coming up…

Having fun with some weird crops at the moment…

Love this shot of Rachel..

Oh like the next one too…

Great – so the WIFI bill is adding up and I better go. Did I mention I’m off to WPPI Las Vegas?????

I can’t wait! Talk soon!

Gareth & Claire Crawfordsburn Inn

Gareth & Claire’s wedding was at the end of December and brings me up to date with all my editing! Wohoo!

Lovely couple, here’s a few photos:

Usually like to do a flower photo outdoors – but not possible due to some rather wintry weather! But I really like the carpet background in the photo below:

A wee bit of history being made…

Now to the service:

Like the next one!

The weather wasn’t being too kind, so instead of the Country Park we decided to go straight to the Crawfordsburn Inn.Of course, as soon as we made that decision the clouds cleared for a moment or two and we got some outdoor stuff - even got the car hood down!

Cricket at Crawfordsburn Inn – probably a first :-)

The room looked great..

New Irish Choir & Orchestra

I cannot believe it’s the end of January and I’m only blogging this now! Have had these edited since before Christmas but just never got around to posting them on here…

In my opinion, the New Irish concert is the official start to Christmas. Its such a great night (if you haven’t been then go tohttp://www.newirisharts.com/ for more info).

Apart from being a great night of music, I bumped in to no less than 5 of my wedding customers! Even better, running up and down the stairs at the Ulster Hall was good exercise before the Christmas dinners started :-) .

Ok, so here’s a few photos, starting with the conductor Jonathan Rea.

Lots of behind the scenes photos like this one:

Very much like the next two:

Doesn’t the Ulster Hall look well? Some venue!

Michael & Stacey Rosspark Hotel

Michael & Stacey’s wedding definetly wins the award for the handiest wedding for me – the brides preparations and the church are literally round the corner!

The weather may have been wild – but it was a really nice wedding. I knew me and Stacey would get on ok when I saw the red poster on her wall:

The grandparents anxiously waiting on the bride returning from the hair dressers :-)

Now to the church in Carrickfergus..

Rosspark always brings back memories as it’s where I got married :-)

This umbrella is a w e s o m e !

The room looked great too…

Philip & Kathryn Galgorm Resort & Spa

It was a privilege to be invited back to the Monaghan household for another big occassion! Kathryn & Philip where the first of my weddings the week after Christmas. You do so much running around at weddings – its was a good way to work off the Christmas dinner(s).

So here’s a few photos:

Now to the chapel. Mr Monaghan’s expression just makes me laugh in the next one – I’ve included the more sensible one below it for good measure :-)

Galgorm!
