This Philippe Starck designed hotel opened last year in the 20th arrondissement inside a former garage in a revitalised pocket of eastern Paris.

The rooms are simple and modern, with iMac televisions and luxurious sheets. Dark carpets scrawled with nonsensical phrases meet walls of exposed concrete.
