- Scotland at the World Cup
The Scottish national football team beat Northern Ireland 3-0 last week in our opening Carling nations cup match, we played with a swagger and passion that hasn't been seen in a dark blue shirt in a long time. These days the Scotland squad is full of young hungry players desperate to qualify for a major finals again. The last time we made it to the World Cup was way back at France 1998 and I was there as a fully fledged member of the "Famous Tartan Army" as Scotland fans have come to be known. I still can't believe it was 13 years ago though and aye it's about time we qualified for another one.
