The low cost company Germanwings will be operating a new direct flight between Bilbao and Stuttgart as from the following month of June. The airline will connect the Basque city to the German destination of Stuttgart with four frequencies a week.

The new route is a result of the narrow relationship that exists between Germanwings and their parent company, Lufthansa. This way, in the 2012 summer program, the low cost airline will fly to all Lufthansas destinations in Europe that depart from Stuttgart.

On the other hand, this new route is added to the offer of flights in which Germanwings are present in Spain. Currently, the airline operates from the airports in Barcelona, Malaga, Mallorca, Ibiza, Tenerife and Grand Canary, and as from March 2012, from Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz) too.

The German airline have recently presented their flights plan for the summer of 2012. Amongst the main novelties are the four new frequencies between Palma de Mallorca and Stuttgart, as well as the increase of the offer between Cologne/Bonn-Berlin and Stuttgart and Berlin.

Dear Friends out there, soaked in snow and fed up with bad weather and cold; writing this post, it is for o clock in the afternoon under a bright blue sky with warm 19C (66F). Yet, the sensation in the sun is even far warmer, and the author is longing to get out of the office and head to the Malaga beaches, as this fabulous weather is actually more than tempting for a magnificent sun bath on one of the deserted beaches of Malaga.

Short decided and spontaneous readers might just get hold of a low cost flight, jump into the plane and enjoy 2 hours later the great feeling of warm sun on their skin for themselves, along with a drink in the beach bar. The weather forecast is great for this weekend. Just do it! With “warm” regards from Malaga airport.
