Cleaning cloth that cleans almost anything

First polish cloth

“The polish cloth did not come from an Easter European country. It didn’t ride the wave of Diaspora like the Polish Sausage or Kielbasa did, only to be gobbled up in restaurants all over the nation.”,said the holographic librarian lecture. The fact is, it was created right here in America over 90 years ago using a mystery formula that helps clean and polish any type of metal. The same thing can be said about the polish hot dog which was created in Chicago by Polish immigrants hoping to add a little bit of old world flavor to a new world favorite.

I then interrupted the talking hologram and said, “I believe that you might have you circuits mix up.” This caused the static image of the librarian to freeze as I explained further, First there is the term Polish with the long o sound, which means of Polish descent, which is where the Kielbasa came from. The word polish, which refers to the act of rubbing a piece of metal to bring out the sine is pronounced with a short “o” sound. The two words, although spelled the same, are completely different in their meanings.

I had hoped that this cleared things up for the poor 400 year old program, but I had my doubts that its quad learning processor was still fully intact.

“I do not compute, Syntax Error number 4″, the hologram asserted before totally freezing and then rebooted itself. When it completed rebooting and was back online, it had no recollection of me or the past 3 months we spent together stuck in the subbasement of a destroyed earth. I now became aware that the entire polish cloth enquiry was a failure, but I had to ask if I was ever going to find the secret formula ever again. I had to understand how silver could be made to shine without damaging it if I was ever going to get back to my era.

The Polish Cloth Humble Beginnings

Unlike the Polish Sausage, or Kielbasa, the polish cloth didn’t come from an Eastern European country, riding on the wave of a Diaspora to be devoured in eateries all over the nation.” The holographic librarian lecturer stated. In reality, it was created right here in America over 90 years ago using a secret formula that helps clean and polish any type of metal. The same thing can be said about the polish hot dog which was conceived in Chicago by Polish immigrants hoping to add a small bit of old world flavor to a new world favorite.

Umm, I think your circuits may well be confused, I then said, interrupting the interactive hologram. The image of the librarian then froze as I tried to explain further, “The term Polish, to identify people who descend from Poland is pronounced with a long “o” sound. This is where the Kielbasa originated from. The word polish, which refers to the action of rubbing a piece of metal to bring out the sine is pronounced with a short “o” sound. The two words are what’s known as a heteronym, two words that are spelled the same, but have different meanings and pronunciation.”

I had hoped that this cleared things up for the poor four hundred year old program, but I had my doubts that its quad learning processor was still entirely intact.

“I do not compute, Syntax Error number 4″, the hologram said before completely freezing and then rebooted itself. When it was done rebooting and was back online, it had no remembrance of me or the past 3 months we spent together confined in the subbasement of a destroyed earth. I speculate the whole polish cloth query was a mistake, but I had to ask it if I was ever going to find the secret formula again. If I was ever going to make it back to my own time, I needed to understand how I could make my silver shiny without it getting damaged.

Magic Cleaning Cloth

You need polish cloth, the grizzly gorilla said to me. It make metal shiny. He added before he went back to working on his garden turning his large silver back to me.

And where can I get this mystical shiny cloth? I asked the hairy crossbreed which was now one of the few creatures left that was capable of actual conversation. My own kind had actually devolved, choosing to cross themselves with less intelligent things such as armadillos and owls in order to adapt to this new apocalyptic world.

I dunno, The Ape Bear replied, pausing to push his wide brimmed hat up and then looking at me with a thoughtful, yet very ape like stare. Go ask Mister know it all, he knows. He then suggested pointing north indicated that was where this Mystics Cave was.

Thanks, I said and when one my way, determined to find the best aluminum polish, wondering vaguely what type of creature he was going to turn out being. Perhaps a dolphin (which I remembered as being intelligent) had been crossed with a land animal, or maybe it was a surviving cyborg that still had a uplink to the central computer.

Whatever, it was it was my best shot at finding the cloth the grizzly gorilla was taking about. I had a suspicion that this miracle cloth that he was referring to was actually a pretreated polishing rag that could be used to remove the tarnish from the silver plates of the professors multi-verse time machine that had stranded me on this strange world before breaking down.

After the journey, the silver transference plates had tarnished turning black, and my theory was that this was the reason why the machine did not work. My hope was to find a magic cloth that still existed in this strange future world and use it to polish the plates, and hopefully get the machine working again.
