Tone 8
The lesson today is on Tone 8 which is often confused with Tone 7. The student with Dr. Kouri today is Yumi Larsen, choir director at St. Barnabas Antiochian Orthodox Church in Costa Mesa, CA. The supplemental handout referenced by Dr.Kouri at the end of today's episode has been combined with the previous handout and can now be downloaded.


Tone 4
Dr. Kouri's student today is 20 year old Johnny Braun as they learn Tone 4.


Tone 7
Kevin Allen is back with Dr. Kouri in this episode to learn the more challenging Irmologic Tone 7.


Tone 3
With student Albert Canan, Dr Kouri instructs us on Tone 3.

Going in Plagal order, today Dr. Kouri works with Ruth on Tone 6.
