This is art with a difference. This is not your standard life drawing, it is life drawing mixed with burlesque dancing! You could be drawing a burlesque performer, muscle-man, belly-dancer, or anything else that little bit different to get your pencils going. This isn't about being an amazing artist, it's about having fun! Professional artists, art students, nervous beginners and 'havent drawn in 30 years' folks, are all welcome! So don't be shy and put pencil to paper, move it around and see what happens. You might be surprised! This experience generally takes place in a bar or a club and will begin with a short introduction about the class and what will happen when your subject is brought out for you to sketch. You will then be given some paper and pencils to use or you are welcome to bring your sketchpads, drawing boards and pencils, however messy mediums like oil paints cannot be used. The subject will hold poses for five to ten minutes to let you capture their form. Inbetween the poses you will be entertained with several performances.
