Tips for Freebies, Surveys And Free GPT Offers

1. I usually skip ones that need your Social Security number.

2. Try doing just these 100% freebies before you start on paid trial offers.

3. Pay attention to the requirements of the offer in order to get paid. Some offers require you to complete just the 1st page or two or just submit your zip code / email.

4. BUT if they ask you to do an offer or if you click “yes” on an offer, find “no thanks” or “skip” either at the bottom or top right of page and click to continue to complete the survey. NEVER do an offer during surveys/freebies.

5. Use CCleaner to delete cookies instead of doing it manually. Delete cookies in between every offer. It’s faster and easier. Remember not to delete cookies while you’re still completing the offer.

6. With some free offers, you probably don’t have to go through all 15 or whatever links or complete any other offers along the way before you get to the end “thank you” page. Freebies seem to be one of those mysteries of the universe, some get credited some won’t but most of the time it’s our fault.

7. Don’t complete a large number of related offers in a short time span. Try not to do a ton of surveys in one sitting. Do maybe 10-15 then come back.

8. Don’t use the same email for more than one offer from the same company.

9. Know that advertiser’s databases often limit the number of signups you can have per physical address, phone number, etc, as well as email address.

10.Don’t complete the same freebie offer more than once, either at the same site or a different site.

11.Take your time with the surveys!. If you use RoboForm try slowing down a bit before you reach the end of the survey. If you complete a survey too fast, the company will think you’re not a real person filling it out.

12.Freebies usually credit within the hour, or at most a few days. If a freebie stays in your “pending” after a few days, delete it so you can redo it at a later time. Once any offer is “denied” you’ll never be able to do it again.

When to Stop on Freebies (a great time saver):

Consumer Promotion Center, Brand Survey Panel, My Elite Rewards, Rewards Gateway, My Insider Deals, My Select Gifts, Savings List -Submit 2nd page

Consumer Expression, Consumer Beat, Winning Surveys, Survey Networks, Opinion Direct -Do until you see message in black at the top that reads “Thank you. Your information has been received successfully…” There will be an additional survey beneath this message. Do not do it.

Net Panel – Done when progress bar in upper right corner shows completed and when you see “Exclusive Bonus Offer…” at top of page. When you get to this page the progress bar will be empty again but you are done.

Tips for Credit Card-Needed GPT Offers

Offers that need your credit card is the way to go if you want to earn money fast. These can range from $10 to over $90 or more on each offer!

1. Watch out for unscrupulous offers. Some will have very tiny or easy to miss terms. Some will say it’s free but mean the trial offer is free AFTER they charge and then refund you. Some will just charge you what ever they want no matter what they say on their site. However, most sites will put everything in their terms so always refer to rule #1, READ first.

2. The best advice I got was to get pre-paid credit cards (you can get gift cards at any drug stores to start doing free trial offers). It’s the safest way when dealing with these ad companies online. Plus you’ll be safe if you ever get unauthorized charges even after you cancelled. (see the appendix for information on prepaid cards)

3. Look for phone numbers/contact info before paying. It’s hard to cancel when you don’t have their phone number. Depending of the site, even if they do provide a contact #, try calling it see how easy it is to get in touch with customer service or maybe even ask them to explain trial/cancellation terms.

4. If you sign up for a free trial, you’ll of course need to keep track and cancel before they start charging your card. As you start signing up for more and more trials, try to keep it organized. You can do all or some of the following.
Take a screenshot of the order page or any other important site page (this is important in case you didn’t get credit for the offer, you’ll have proof)
Save “terms & conditions page (go to file at top of browser and “save as”)
Jot down on the calendar or in an appointment book when trials expire
Keep a spreadsheet, notebook or index cards of the completed offers, with the following information:
* Date signed up
* Company name and website address
* Length of trial period and date to cancel by (highlight the date)
* Fee for activation (sometimes $1) or shipping/handling charge if one is involved (you might do a trail for a weight loss product, for example, in which you pay $3.95 for s/h but will earn $19 for completing the offer)
* Monthly/weekly fee involved if you fail to cancel
* Company phone number and/or instructions to cancel
* Reward for doing the offer

Remember, READ THE TERMS BEFORE SUBMITTING. Some of them enter you into an automatic program where they will charge you continuously until you cancel. Some require you to return their product and pay for the return shipping. This is okay and may still profit you; you just need to know up front.

Sometimes a company will have many different products. Make sure not to do the more than 2 offers at the same company within a short period of time.

Canceling Offers and Trials

1. Don’t cancel trials immediately, since the advertiser deemed it a fraudulent completion and you will not get credit

2. Even if you used a prepaid card: you MUST still cancel and if required, return their product!!
Why? This will ensure that offers will continue to accept prepaid cards and ensure more free trials in the future. If you don’t cancel or return required products, and they can’t charge you, they have a right to come after you. If they’re serious enough, they might be able to track you down and get a collections agency after you!

3. It’s important to document your cancellation in case the company fails to record your cancellation.
Date I canceled
Person I spoke with and their ID number or extension number (ask if they don’t tell you)
Cancellation confirmation number (ask for one if they don’t offer it)
Make note if you received and printed out an email confirming your cancellation (place printed confirmation in folder)

4. Get SPECIFIC instructions on returns.
Is there a deadline to return?
Do you need a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number?
Do I even have to return anything? (sometimes you don’t have to)
Do I have to return everything in the package? *(most advertisers might just want the empty bottle back,
or just one CD back…ask!)

5. I recommend paying for delivery confirmation when returning. It only costs 55 cents and you have proof in case they somehow never got it!

6. If you suspect you’re not getting the right return info/instructions, call back and speak with someone else.

You’d be surprised how many different answers you get for the same question.

Making Money with GPT Sites
A Beginners Tutorial to Earning Cash at Home

What is GPT?

GPT stands for “get-paid-to“. These programs pay you cash to complete short surveys and to sign up for trial memberships with online companies. So far I’ve not found a better way to make money online! Last month alone I made over $650, and won movie tickets and a $50 Target gift card!

There are 3 ways you can earn money with these programs. You can do any or all of the abovenothing is mandatory to participate!

a) Complete the 100% free non-credit card offers (aka freebies)
b) Complete a paid offer or trial
c) Referrals from friends or links

About Freebies:

Most of the GPT programs have “freebie” offers. These are offers that do not require a credit card. They do not pay a lot (anywhere from .30 to several dollars) but take very little to complete…anywhere from 10 seconds to 3 minutes in my experience. Doing freebies is a very quick and easy way to increase your earnings…especially if you are unable to or do not wish to use a credit card.

Most freebie offers are surveys, where you enter in your contact information and answer a series of demographic questions. Basically, they are paying you for your contact information, which they can then sell to other marketers.

There are also many free offers that pay $1-$6 (and more) which require that you only request more information about a product or service…or just request a free car/life insurance quote etc.

Doing the various freebie offers is a very simple, risk free & fast way to build up your earnings. I expect to make at least $200 off them each month.

About Paid or Trial Offers:

Some of the most high-paying offers require a credit/debit card number to sign up, and sometimes charge a shipping and handling or trial fee of $1-$9.99. As long as you cancel the services prior to your trial deadline then your card is charged nothing.

If you do not cancel then you are basically agreeing to continue with the service and are giving the company permission to charge your card a fee. If you feel uncomfortable using a credit/debit card online then get a prepaid gift card that can’t be charged more than what you put on it. This way you don’t have to worry about a company charging you for fees after you cancel. I’ll tell you more about prepaid gift cards below.

GPT programs make their money through advertisers. The advertisers pay the programs to recruit new members to try their services/products for a short period of time… hoping that they will remain a paying member after their trial period has ended.

To make money, you simply click on an offer that you find interesting and sign up for a trial membership. You are under no obligation to remain a member and you may simply cancel your membership before your trial period ends.

For example, on offer may be to try Blockbuster Online for free for 14 days and get paid $35. If you like the service they provide then do not cancel and the credit card (or prepaid) that you signed up with will be charged a monthly fee after your trial ends and will continue until you cancel. There are hundreds of offers and new offers are added regularly.

About Referral Income:

A referral is someone that has signed up under you through your referral link. You can make from 10% to 20% of what your referrals earnings, depending on the GPT site. 2nd level referrals are those who sign up under your referral, and sites usually pay around 5% for these.

If someone signs up under you, you are paid the referral income by the GPT site, it does not come out of your referees income. For example, if you refer someone to a site and they earn $100, the site will pay them their $100 PLUS pay you $10.

How to Complete A GPT Offer

Find out How to Complete

GPT SiteOffers

1. Some sites have offer menu at the top, or when you login. If not, find and click on Members, then View Offers.

3. Click on the offer banner or the offer description to get to the advertiser’s site and complete offer.

2. Click this when you have completed the offer.

4. Some offers require an email confirmation. After you completed the offer, go to your email account and copy the email you received from the advertiser (including the header, date, time, etc). Then paste it in the form at the GPT site. For “Login ID”, enter the email you used when signing up for that offer.

5. Click this when you think you’ll never do this offer ever. It’ll move the offer to the “Ignored” folder.

6. It will then go into the “Pending” folder. * click on “browse folder”

7. Once the offer is approved, you’ll get an email (a new email for every offer approved). If it’s not approved, you won’t receive any emails. Check back at the site under “Pending” or “Denied”

If your offer stays pending longer than the stated trial period (usually 7 days), you can fill out a “non-credit request”. Along with the basic info such as date offer completed and offer name, you’ll need to paste confirmation emails that you received from the offer company and any screenshots would also help.

If it got denied, do the same thing and fill out a “non-credit request”.

Getting Started

How Do I Get Started?

In this section I will guide you through a series of steps to start making money right away at GPT-ing! It is fun and easy, and the more you do the more comfortable youll become. The information below may sound overwhelming at first, but if you go slow and are willing to learn you will be a pro in no time!

1. Set up a private phone number.

Unless you like your home phone ringing constantly, get a separate phone number. NetZero’s PrivatePhone (www.privatephone.com) is a great FREE service. It is a real, local telephone number that goes right to an answering service. It can hold up to 10,000 messages. Anyone who calls your NetZero number can leave a voice mail which you can check by phone or online.

Tip: Be sure to record a personal greeting so that it sounds like an authentic home number to callers.

2. Set up GPT Email

The freebies result in a ton of junk emails. To protect your main email account I recommend you set up several “junk” email addresses and alternate these when doing the “freebies”.

You cannot use the same email address on more than one offer in the same family. For example, if you are planning to do 10 Winning Surveys then you must use a different email address on all 10 otherwise only one of them will approve. You need to be seen as a different member each time you fill out their surveys and they keep track of this through your email address and cookies. So clear cookies and use different addresses on each offer.

You do not have to create 10 different email addresses for this. What you should do is open a Gmail account. Their email service is free and offers a ton of storage. Create an email address with the maximum characters which is 30. When using this type of email you can place a period or periods in the address. Doing this keeps the address valid but makes it appear like a different one.

If your Gmail address is makelotsofmoneywithgptsites@gmail then when you do your first Win survey you will use that address. When you complete the second Win survey you will use the same address, but place a period between the first two letters.

On the next Win Survey you will place a period between the second and third letters…and so on. Continue with this pattern until you are at the end of your address (stop just before the @ symbol). Then change things up a bit with the next survey. Place a period between the first two letters and another period between the last two letters. With the next Win survey you can move the last period closer to the first, between two different letters. I follow a certain pattern with the periods when I do my freebie offers.

Example:
m.akelotsofmoneywithgptsites@gmail
ma.kelotsofmoneywithgptsites@gmail
mak.elotsofmoneywithgptsites@gmail
m.a.k.e.l.otsofmoneywithgptsites@gmail

By the time I’m finished with an email address I have used it well over 100 times on over 100 different freebie offers. The last time I use the email address I put a period between every single letter. Then it’s time to retire that email address and move on to another.

3.Choose which computer to use.

You may only join on one computer, under one IP address. You may not set up accounts at home and at work, or have two people in the same household with accounts. Violations of these rules will result in you getting banned.
