Ancient Underwater Cities Off England Coast
A group of divers and a geomorphologist are surveying the sunken town this summer using multibeam and sidescan sonars that can detect objects on the seafloor. During a survey last year, the group mapped two churches and found evidence of a third.


8,000 Year Old Shoes Discovered
Ancient, 8,000-year-old shoes found in a Missouri cave show that fashion in footwear is nothing new and, in fact, is much older than anyone thought. Scientists said that high-tech dating procedures indicate that the shoes are at least 2,000 years older than previously believed.
