Garmin Forerunner 405CX
The Garmin 405CX is the evolution of the Forerunner 405. Not only does it have all the physical characteristics, functions and features of the Garmin 405 Forerunner, it is complete with all the optional extras included and then some.
Beyond the heart rate monitor and USB stick that are now both included, the Forerunner 405CX uses the more accurate heart rate based calorie computation for your runs and workouts.
It also has a changeable wrist strap that comes in two different sizes. Changing it is straight forward.

Accessories
Both models in the Garmin 405 Forerunner range, the 405 and 405CX are great for both outdoor and indoor training. The main accessory for the Forerunner 405 is the Heart Rate Monitor. It is standard with the 405CX.
The heart rate monitor comes in 2 versions:
The standard heart rate monitor and the Garmin Premium heart rate monitor with soft strap.
The Garmin Foot Pod is suitable for both outdoor and indoor training when lack of view stops the GPS based system from keeping track of your distance. Calibration and set up are straight forward.
The Garmin Bike Speed/Cadence Sensor has a self-calibrating, wireless design that measures both cycle speed and cadence in pedalling strokes per minute. It is easily fitted to your bike.
