INTRODUCTION

FAIRCRETE 16 is a colorless, transparent non-toxic aqueous solution which when applied on fresh concrete surfaces reacts with free lime and seals the pores. This produces a core-hardened surface that blocks the pores of the concrete thus protecting the surface attack by mild chemicals, oils, fats and grease. It is a water based sealer that penetrates concrete and masonry building materials, protecting, preserving, and strengthening them. FAIRCRETE 16 is not only a remedy for existing floors but should be considered as a vital part of the specifications for new floor.

APPLICATION METHOD

SURFACE PREPARATION

Grind the floor with the marble grinding machine but ensure that the top surface is not removed. If there are any cracks or potholes then repair the same with EPOXY REPAIR SYSTEMS. Wash the surface with clean water and then remove excess water from the surface. Please
ensure that before starting the application the surface is thoroughly dry so that FAIRCETE 16 can penetrate into the concrete.

SAFETY

Avoid contact of the material with skin and eyes. Wear appropriate gloves and eye protection during use. Wash off with soap and water if the material comes into contact with the skin. Any eye contamination must be washed with copious amounts of water and immediate medical attention should be taken.

HOW IT WORKS AGAINST SOLAR ENERGY ?

When solar radiation strikes on uncoated roof, it is converted into Infra Red radiation. This radiated energy passes down through the roof and is absorbed by building components i.e. wall, ceiling, etc. Due to solar energy conservation, electricity consumption increases. An untreated roof or building component reflects less and absorbs more heat hence, temperature inside the building rises drastically.

WATERGUARD I has got a high reflectivity when applied on roof and building exteriors. It acts as a radiant barrier which initially absorbs solar energy and then releases the heat which avoids high temperature formation in a room.

Any built-up energy in a building is absorbed back through the roof, allowing the building to cool rapidly. Traditional roof materials retain heat in a building throughout the night because of their low emitance values. The density of the ceramic particles resists wear and degradation from ultra violet radiation, extending the useful life of the system. The insulating effect of the products remains constant throughout its useful life.

Normally, illumination consumes about 15% electricity in domestic use. FAIRMATE make insulation products cuts down the power consumption and saves electricity tariff (charges) upto 30%. At the same time, it protects the environment by reducing the amount of energy that is generated to heat buildings, thereby decreasing the amount of pollution released into the air. DESCRIPTION

FAIRFIX GLUE is a polyester based two component, catalysed adhesive. It is two part powder and resin, which will be mixed and form a paste. FAIRFIX GLUE adhesives are remarkable by their very fast initial cure (10 to 30 minutes). It has excellent adhesion to rigid materials and can be applied for fixing marble, natural stone and terrazzo.

APPLICATION METHOD

SURFACE PREPARATION

All surfaces must be sound, clean and free from loose particles. All traces of oil and grease must be removed with FM DEGREASER.

CLEANING

Tools and equipments should be cleaned with SAFECORE TOOL CLEANER.

MIXING

The base and hardener (aggregate) components shall be thoroughly mixed together using a stiff spatula or a slow speed drill with paddle attachment, until a uniform colour has been achieved.

HEALTH & SAFETY

FAIRFIX GLUE is non toxic. However, splashes on the skin should be washed well with water and if contact with eye occurs, wash well with water and seek medical advice.

APPLICATION

After mixing the base and hardener components , a 2-3 mm thick bed of FAIRFIX GLUE should be spread with the help of trowel and grooves should be shaped zig-zag using a scrapper. Marble should be fixed keeping line and length in to consideration. Excess material should be removed before the material is set. Joint grouting (FAIRFIX TG) may be commenced 12 hours after laying of marbles.

PACKING AND COVERAGE

FAIRFIX GLUE is available in 500 gms., 1kg and 5kg pack. 1 kg pack will give a coverage of about 4-5 sq. ft at 2mm thickness.

SHELF LIFE & STORAGE

FAIRFIX GLUE has a shelf life of 6 months in unopened containers when kept in dry conditions at a temperature between 5C to 35C. Storage at higher temperature or high humidity may reduce shelf life.

PREPACK CONCRETE & MORTAR

FAIRFIX TA / FAIRFIX TA STD – Ceramic tile adhesive DESCRIPTION FAIRFIX TA / FAIRFIX TA STD is a prepacked cementitious tile adhesive which ensures excellent bond on concrete, plastered and even on ceramic and mosaic tile surfaces conforming to BS 5385 – 1976 PART – 1 Appendix A. It should be mixed with water in the ratio of 3:1 by volume. USES FAIRFIX TA / FAIRFIX TA STD is a high quality adhesive for permanent fixing of ceramic tiles both in damp and submerged conditions. Can be used for fixing of insulating and acoustic boards. FAIRFIX TA / FAIRFIX TA STD can also be used for fixing tile on tile.
FAIRFIX TA (WHITE) – Special adhesive for marbles DESCRIPTION It is a prepacked marble adhesive which ensures excellent bond on concrete, plastered surfaces and even on ceramic and mosaic tile surfaces. Also, it ensures perfect water tightness. USES FAIRFIX TA (WHITE) is a high quality adhesive for the permanent fixing of marbles both in damp and submerged conditions. FAIRFIX TA (WHITE) can also be used for fixing marble on marble.
FAIRFIX TG A hard wearing, water resistant grout for filling joints of tiles DESCRIPTION FAIRFIX TG is a water resistant grout for filling joints of tiles and it is composed of precisely graded, pure crystalline, marble powder, blend of special cements, water-repellent materials, oxide colours and plasticisers. It is suitable for use in tropical and hot climatic conditions. Addition of recommended quantity of water into FAIRFIX TG makes a smooth and creamy paste which resists water after setting.
FAIRADD TA – Tile adhesive admixtures DESCRIPTION FAIRADD TA is an admixture for cementitious tile adhesive. It has to be mixed with cement or mortar to ensure good adhesion of the ceramic tiles. USES FAIRADD TA can be used as additive for cement mortar for tile, stone, adhesive, where economy is a major criteria.
