There are occasions you wish there were a magic button that could get your computer back to the condition it was in when you first purchased it. There is no denying the fact that with regular use, most computers start behaving rather weird. Is there any solution to this problem? How can you get your computer back to what it was a when you first bought it? The next few paragraphs will shed some light on it.
Before we do that though, lets find out what exactly happens. If you install a few programs and surf the web, there are good chances that your computer will get affected by viruses, spyware, malware, cache and cookie files, etc. When you install a program – any program – it writes some data to the registry. As you install more and more programs, the registry gets a bit clogged up and hence it renders the computer slow. That is the only reason why it’s important to have a solid support care plan for your system. This way, an expert can fix things up for you if they go wrong.
There are several programs that can help you speed your computer up. There are registry cleaners, anti virus programs, anti spyware, etc that can help you. If you ask for my recommendation, I’d recommend Fixcleaner. FixCleaner is an all-in-one program that helps you clear out the junk that is accumulated, repair the corrupted registry entries and also cleans any temp files that you don’t use. You may read my Fixcleaner review here.
There are other steps that a normal user can try himself. To start with, you should try and remove all those unneccessary programs that load when your computer starts up. Remove all those software that you don’t use frequently. It is also advisable to remove icons from your desktop if they make it too cluttered. All this will make your computer load faster, at the very least.
Defragmentation is also another good option. These steps are more than enough to speed your computer up. You can’t ever rule out the worst case scenario though. It gets even more frustrating because of that. What do you do if your computer is one of those?
In that case, you should try restoring your computer to a point in the past where it was working to your liking. Quite a few times, it is because of some program you installed that your computer starts working slow. Restoring is the only option in those cases. If that doesnt work (very unlikely), you could just reinstall your operating system.
Before you do so, back up all the critical data. I’d advice looking for some help if you’re not too acquainted with computers. If nothing else works, go and purchase a new computer.
