EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women Los Angeles!

Jan is a team captain of her team Jan’s Fans as well as a cancer survivor. Jan shares with us her top Revlon Run/Walk fundraising tip. It may sound pretty simple, but it it is to just ask people to help and to sponsor you/your team.

Jan sends emails, talks about the Revlon Run Walk, the need for cancer awareness and cancer research funding and even gets her bunco group involved.

EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women New York!

Great News! Now you can participate in the EIF Revlon Run/Walk in your Sleep! 

If you can’t make it to the event/s on April 30th in New York or the May 7th event in Los Angeles, then select RUN/WALK IN YOUR DREAMS in either location today! You can sleep in on event day and still help us cross the finish line of erasing women’s cancers forever.

Registration is just $42 and you’ll get a super cool EIF Revlon Run/Walk 2011 t-shirt mailed to you. On event day join us virally on our social pages for all the event updates, special celebrity guests and more. Post a picture of you in your t-shirt to our Facebook page!

Since 1994, the funds raised in the EIF Revlon Run/Walks in LA and New York have together distributed over $60 million for cancer research, treatment, counseling and cancer outreach programs. Thanks in part to these funds, new treatments are being developed, lives are being saved, and hope is gaining ground.

Crossing the finish line of eradicating women’s cancers forever is a big job that will take every dollar that can be raised. But WOMENTUM™ is powerful stuff and together we put the fun in fundraising!

A donation to the EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women supports organizations and programs that research the cause and cure of women’s cancers and provide support programs for women’s cancer patients and their families.

Proceeds from the Revlon Run/Walk are distributed to a variety of charitable organizations leading the fight against women’s cancers.

These beneficiaries are selected by The Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF). EIF is 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides philanthropic leadership and facilitates the collective fundraising power of the entertainment industry to impact critical issues and create positive social change by making researched contributions to local and national charitable organizations.

All pledges from the 2011 Revlon Run Walks will help support these excellent organizations in the fight against women’s cancers.

Carmen is the fundraising chairwoman of her EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women team. Carmen’s team has a terrific and unique fundraising idea that they use. Her team partnered with Pink Wings. Pink Wings is a website that sells b****t cancer awareness items and donates part of the proceeds directly to b****t cancer research. Courtney and Pink Wings held a special boutique and 20% of the sales generated went directly to Carmen’s Revlon Run/Walk for Women team.

This was a great way to fundraise for the Revlon Run/Walk, plus the Pink Wings merchandise with will further spread cancer awareness.

Team Immaculate is walking in the NY Revlon Run/Walk. Team Captain Makeda’s teams is ade up of friends, family & business associates. Team Immaculate is raising money in honor of Staten Island cancer awareness and cancer research.Makeda also lets us in on her fundraising tactics which include hitting up all of her contacts on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace as well as daily email campaigns.
