Holidays at Balfour

Testimonial from Steve & Joan

Testimonial from Balfour Guests, Steve and Joan

Note: Steve and Joan came to stay in one of our guest suites after their home was flooded. Sounds like they’re pretty happy here!

Good Morning,

I know we are known as two people who change their minds frequently.

Well it snowed last night and is still snowing. The Balfour is getting to look better to us by the hour. In the warmer months no worry about lawn care. If something needs repair it’s done at no major expense to us.

No worry about snow removal, cooking or cleaning, our apartment was cleaned yesterday and our linens were changed. This service is provided twice a month. We have a lovely kitchen area complete with microwave, range, oven refrigerator and dishwasher. We also have our own washer and dryer. The apartment is cheery and the common areas are cozy, beautiful and well maintained. The employees here always are welcoming have a smile and ready to help or answer any questions.

We are beginning to realize that we do as much from here as we do at home.
I use the computer and read, Steve practices his clarinet ( he doesn’t have his saxophone because he didn’t want to disturb people) and reads. They do have rooms in the common area that he could use. We can go and come just as we please and so any activities outside our house would be the same. Should we wish to travel no problem just close the door and go.

There are people here that are older and some maybe younger but with some health problems. Everyone does make an effort to look their best.

Yes I don’t like seeing a lot of grey haired people but I am one of them. Yes people have wrinkles but so do Steve and I.

We have checked what it costs us to live at home and when we consider all the expenses we have maintaining a house and meals it looks pretty good here.

We are not coming here yet but it looks better and better.

Love

Steve and Joan
